The family who will be with your daughter every day
José, Alicia, Laura y Marta
We are José and Alicia, and we live in Jávea with our daughters, Laura and Marta, who study at Laude Lady Elizabeth School. They are also part of daily life with the students: sharing meals, conversations and family plans, bringing a natural connection to international school life and everyday Spanish.
We open our home to a very small group of international students: a maximum of four girls aged 14 to 18 per academic year.
- We personally take the students to school every day — it is not an anonymous service.
- Before confirming any place, we like to get to know the family on a video call and show them the house live.
- Daily life — meals, study and free time — is shared with José, Alicia, Laura and Marta; each student sleeps in her own independent suite.
Besides Laumar, the family has run other businesses in Jávea for years — among them Tela Marinera, Class & Villas, Caramel et Chocolat and Laumar Project Management — as a reference of local roots, not as a substitute for this presentation.

How the student is cared for and supported
Daily transport
José and Alicia personally take the students to school every day and coordinate regular trips to supermarkets, the shopping centre and leisure areas. It is not an anonymous service.
Meals
Full board with breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, home-cooked and adapted to the preferences and allergies the family reports in advance.
Home security
Perimeter video surveillance of the estate, kept for a maximum of 30 days. The students' private areas are not under video surveillance.

Life at Laumar
Meals, study and free time as a family
At weekends the family cooks paellas and organises plans near the sea. The estate has a pool, gardens and shared study areas, as well as the family's three dogs: Barnie, Bruno and Ares.
Living alongside the dogs, and the rules for access to the students' areas, are explained during the video call, in case a family has allergies or preferences on this point.

What other families ask
Who supervises the students, and when?
José and Alicia live on the same estate and are there for the day-to-day. The exact details of availability are explained on the initial video call.
What happens at night or in an emergency?
This is explained in detail, together with the rest of the house rules, on the initial video call and in the dossier afterwards.
How do transfers work?
José and Alicia personally take the students to school. Other regular trips are arranged directly with the family.
What schedules and rules are there?
These are shared in writing in the dossier sent after the first video call.
How are allergies, diets or medication managed?
The cooking is home-made and adapted to the preferences and allergies the family reports. Medication is arranged directly with José and Alicia before arrival.
What happens at weekends and during school holidays?
At weekends life carries on as a family. The confirmed academic period runs from 1 September to 20 June; the rest is detailed in the dossier.
Can parents visit the house before booking?
Yes. The first video call includes a live tour of the house, and an in-person visit can also be requested.
What documentation and insurance are required?
This is confirmed during the admissions process, before finalising the reservation.
How do the students get on with the dogs?
The family has three dogs: Barnie, Bruno and Ares. Their access to the students' areas is explained on the video call, in case of allergies or preferences.
